Just being nosey really!

Was wondering how many of us are still breastfeeding and when u plan to stop? I think I will stop at 6 months as this is how long I lasted with my other kids but as friend of mine still feeds her 19 month old, anyone else plan on feeding that long?

After my little scare of might having to stop ive know been told i can carry on which is great i hope to stop around 6 months i was thinking of stopping at Xmas when Ethan is 5 months but i cant drink anyway due to medication so i might as well just carry on until he is 6 months i don't fancy going any longer as i remember my first getting a little biter around that time.

The only thing im dreading is my boobs going south this is my third BF baby

Hi,

I am still exclusively bf. Kelly is 14 or 15 weeks old now, he was 17lbs at his 13wk weigh in. He feeds ALOT! For this reason I plan to introduce an evening bottle this week, to give me a bit of a rest, even a 4 hr break would be nice. I go back to work 28th Mar, so I will hopefully just be doing a morning and night feed by then myself, he can have bottles as snacks twice during the day, and 3 'meals' with the rest of us. I plan to stop at 13 months, we're going to majorca in Aug, so I want to only take beakers abroad and not have to sterilise anything, so I'll still bf then for the easiness. My dd was ff and we took her to Greece when she was 5 months, it was a nightmare.

Zoe. xx

Hiya hon

I'm still exclusively BF too and haven't even thought about when I'll stop... I guess maybe when I go back to work next May (Em will be about 10 months) I would like to be only doing a morning and night feed by then.

Obviously though, Em might have other ideas and just want to give it up... but at the moment I doubt it as she is defo a "booby baby" LOL.

Hi

Im still exclusivly BF, its SOOO much easier than FF, no sterilising etc trying to get just the right amounts of formula in, then taking enough out and getting them warmed up etc... and night times! ok Marcus generally sleeps through but when he does wake up, plus that morning feed when you really dont want to be up yet :)

Have no plans of stopping, just taking it a day at a time (though its going really well) and will stop when it feels right or when he decides to, but he really loves it and doesnt like bottles too much, though when i've expressed he will take it so planning a night out just me and DP at some point

Abby and Marcus xx
