Hiya,

popped over from mums due oct 09 but still waiting for my baba!

i am epileptic myself and have learnt that there are so so so many differnet types of the thing so would be impossible to tell. i think he may be a little too young to be diagnosed for certain with anything like this.

i can remember my DS did a similar thing for a while but i think he was probably nearly 1. his eyes would roll back in his head and his head would go back a bit too. he only did it a few times then he stopped. i then just put it down to wind.

but would prob be best to speak to your gp or health visitor.

I don't want to trivialise it if it might be serious, but it sounds like a common newborn quirk.

 

Is it accompanied by a slight chuckle?

 

I can picture babies doing this (or something similar) usually when they are sleepy or have just woke up IIRC.
