I'm so glad your baby got over the swine flu, my 4 year old daughter had it a few weeks ago and has fully recovered. Luckily my baby son (8 months) avoided it.

I just wanted to echo your point about the stupid mother who is inviting people over to catch it! I had some mums wanting to bring their kids over to catch it off my dd, I spoke to my doctor about this and he advised that you should NOT try to catch it, or invite people over for swine flu parties etc. Reason being that the more people catch it, the more it takes a hold in the community and the more it gets the chance to mutate etc and the risk is that by spreading it, you could be responsible for passing it onto an unsuspecting person who may not be strong enough to fight it off.

Sorry, just a 'grrr' as it really annoyed me that people wanted to come and spread it around!

Let's hope it gradually fades away and I hope everyone whose LOs have got it recover soon,

love

Anna
