my 6 month old dd has been diagnosed with a chest infection, we are on amoxiciline 3 times a day and infant parecetomol 4. through the night she was arching her back when i was trying to feed her - she has only fed at 5am and 1230 this afternoon which is missing 3 feeds from her normal (weaning) routine. she screams and arches away from me ( i BF )

i only managed the 1230 as she was sleepy, as soon as she woke she arched and screamed.

so far she has wet nappies but worrying that if she keeps this up she will get dehydrated.

has anyone experienced this before and have any advice?

thank you so much

alex

It might be that she just cant breath whilst she is feeding, You havent said if she has a cold or not? Sometime if they have a cold then they cant breath through there nose so when they feed they get fidgetey.
