hi,

i gave birth to my first baby 12 weeks ago, the birth was a natural vaginal water birth with no complications. I was very lucky and came out of the whole experience with just an internal graze (just inside flubee!) but it still hasn't healed!! It's soooo frustrating as i can't walk further than a trip around tesco without it getting sore and swelling up! i've been back to the docs twice and had 2 lots of antibiotics which eased it for the week and then it flared up again....is this normal?? i've just ordered some arnica tablets to try and i'm going to try epsom salt baths....does anyone else know of anything i can try or had a similar experience???

Help.....i just want to be back to normal again!!

hi mini2008-

congrats on yr new arrival!!! i had 2nd deg tears for both my dd's birth in may06 and ds birth in oct08( which both needed loadsa stitches) -ouch-lol!!! but 2nd time i used arnica and recover was superb!!! is it arncia cream or tablets? i took the tablets and found them to be fab!! they come in two types 6c and 30c, the 6c are stronger than 30c and the 'c' is the number of times they been diluted so 6c are better!

hth

hope you feel more comfortable soon chick!
