I am due my baby next month and once i have established breast feeding i wud like to start expressing so that dad and nannies can enjoy feeding baby too!

My question is after much looking into bottles i have a toss up between 2 bottles the Medula Haberman or the Early years breastflow, Has anyone got aany experience with these??? Both aimed at breast feeding babies and both seem to have great reveiws the breastflow seems alot more aesetically pleasing however the haberman is the prefered choice of 'the baby whisperer' Tracey Hogg.

Opinions Please???

P.S I b/f my 2nd DD but used a normal avent bottle and found that she became lazy on the breast hence why i want to make a better choice this time round!

I'm bf DS2 and got a free breastflow bottle before he was born and have used it maybe once or twice a week since he was 3 weeks old if I've had to be away from him - always with EBM. Personally have found the bottle great - although does take him a while to take it which think helps as he still has to work for his milk.

Had used Tomme Tippee Closer to nature bottles with DS1 which he ended up prefering and eventually we gave up bf totally. Hence same as you this time wanted a bottle that would compliment bf more. Have now bought some more Breastflow bottles as needed bigger bottles and swear by them as he still bf great.

If your unsure and because its just for the occassional feed you could get one of each bottle and test them out as each baby is different. also keep them on the newborn teat even once bigger as it keeps the flow slower. The one time we tried TT bottles he had 4oz in less than 5 min and promtly covered me in it! lol

hey Iv been trying for the last week to get my daughter to take a bottle at night from my df as he wants to give her a feed and wev bin trying the breastflow for the same reason as you I dont want her to get llazy and prefer a bottle to me. She refused it at first tehn up until last night would only take an ounze at the most then refuse it but last night she took the four ounzes and then finished her feed from me it meant df got to feed her and I got my last cuddle and to feed her before bed so the best of both worlds and she didnt seem confused going from one straight onto the other.

Ah thanks ladies for all ur replies its great to see that people have good things to say about the breast flow!!! Looks like thats the one i will try when breastfeeding is established!!!
