Hi

Just wanted a bit of advice. Bf'ing my DD has become really painful, as she now has 4 teeth! It's not that she bites (although she does occasionally - ouch!), it just feels like her teeth are permanently dug into my nipple. I've tried to re-latch her but it doesn't make any difference.
The evening feed is the most painful, and I suspect it's because she's the least hungry for that feed (she's just had her tea).

hi - i don't have experience yet (no teeth yet, thankfully!) but i have heard that really concentrating on the basics of positioning helps; tummy to mummy etc, as it stops the babies getting enough leverage to bite.

Tummy to mummy doesn't really help as that's what I always do :( It's funny - doesn't hurt at all first thing in the morning because that's when she's hungriest, so she's not bothered about digging her teeth in! The other times she doesn't actually bite, I can just feel her sharp teeth ;(
