Hi all

I've had my M&P Pliko Switch for almost 9mths now and TBH I'm a bit dissapointed in it now :-( Just wondered if anyone else who has one is thinking the same?

I find the so called "freedom straps" a nightmare with a nosey baby who constantly leans out of the pushchair to watch the wheels go round and then gets bumped on the head by people with shopping bags!

When Owen is leaning forward in the pushchair or just sitting up very straight which he loves to do I find it doesn't push easily. I have to really shove it to get the pushchair started (almost like the front swivel wheels are always starting sideways) so its not easy to push. When Owen is lying down asleep this isn't a problem so I guess its the extra weight of him over the front wheels which causes the problem.

When the pushchair is in FF position and folded to go in the car the hood gets squashed and now doesn't pop back completely straight when I put the pushchair up.

I LOVED this pram when Owen was younger and we used the pram liner or the car seat - it was so light and easy to push and I had no complaints but now I'm using it in a different way I'm not so happy with it:-(

Anyone else finding the same problems?

Claire

I had an older Pilko years ago and I wasnt impressed either. Found it to be quite 'rickety' and like you say harder to push, my eldest was around 2 when he was in it and wasnt an overly large 2 year old either.

Im not a fan of the freedom harnessess either and with my youngest, a very nosey energetic 2 year old hed be out of it like a shot! Even tightening his car seat 5 point harness sometimes doesnt prevent him from getting his arms out so a freedom one would be like his dream come true!

TBH, if youre having problems now and Owen is only 8 months old I think you will just dislike it more as he grows. Maybe a good excuse to buy a new buggy! lol
