Hi,

I'm expecting number 3 and think I need to finally invest in a small folding double. Our main double is a vibe, which I love but it takes up so much space in the boot.

I'd love a Nipper 360 but those don't fold very small either - so DH says no :(

I've tried a double maclaren and found it quite difficult to steer and lift onto kerbs. This time the age gap will be smaller and both kids will be younger but it would be nice if I could use the double to take any combination of kids.

Any recommendations or am I asking for the impossible??

Thanks,
Alyssa x

Hi!

Have you considered the Baby Jogger City Mini Double?? That is what I have and as I live in a tiny house am very restricted for space. This double folds 'in half' and easily fits in my small porch.

I have a 5 month old and a 2 year old and I find it very easy to push although I've never used any other double so have nothing to compare it to. If my 2 year old wants to get out and walk then its easy to push one handed whilst holding his hand. The seats are lie flat so good for a newborn. Both seats recline which I wanted in case my 2 year old naps. All in all it does me fine although the handle is a little high or maybe I'm just a little to short lol! I don't think there is a perfect double but this one is pretty close!

Hi

I've had a Jane Powertwin, Vibe, M&P Twin Aria+  and now a BJ City Mini double.

Out of the 4 I'd have to say the City mini double comes top of the list with the Aria in 2nd.

The city mini folds so small considering it's a full size pushchair and will easily fit a 4 yr old in so it's very roomy and the massive hoods are excellent. It also has a good size shopping basket.
