Hi all

Thank you very much indeed for your suggestions following my previous post. I've had the chance to see some of the buggies in the flesh now, and read more into the various options, so I have a much better idea of what I need and like!

Now I've got some more questions!

I've narrowed my choice down to either the Bebe Confort Streety or a Bugaboo Bee. I should have said in my previous post that I also need one that's a true 'from birth' pushchair where I don't need to add a pram/carrycot/car seat in order to use it until DS is 6 months old. My budget definitely won't stretch to a new Bee, so I've been looking for 2nd hand ones but they also seem to go at one hell of a price :( So my first question is this: is there anywhere specifically that does cheaper Bees (other than eBay but they seem to go for a high price, still)? Or is it really going to be out of my price range regardless?

My second question is can you actually get the Streety without all the travel system bits? I really don't need the car seat and I know I could sell it but I don't particularly want the hassle... and although I've seen it in Mothercare without the car seat it's about 3 times the price that Kiddicare.com do it (and that's with the car seat and other bits). Again, is there a specific company/website etc that sells only the Streety without the travel system bits for a reasonable price?

Also, are there any shops out there that would actually accept a trade in for an existing pushchair and offer a fair price, or doesn't that kind of thing exist?

Thank you again in advance!

If you can manage to get the funds together then you should definitely get a Bee.  The Streety is very heavy and I've heard is also very difficult to get up and down kerbs.

The thing with Bee is that if you buy brand new you're getting a 2 year warranty which is great as it's normally only 6 months on pram warranties, they also hold their value very well on ebay.  Mothercare normally have a 10% code which is what I used when I bought my Bee.

I've really fallen in love with the Bee (is that possible with a buggy?!) and I soooo want one lol

Just need to amass the funds now...
