harnesses.

My dd is only 6 weeks old and I had to put her in her seat unit of her pram (although she's still in the carrycot for the majority of time), when I tried to fasten the straps the one between her legs wouldn't fasten around her nappy, the straps adjust around her shoulders, waist and between her legs and I tried them on the largest size but couldn't get it closed I don't know if it's because she was lay down but without the nappy it fit fine, and I was wondering if anyone else was having or has had a similar issue?? And if so is there anything I can do, or will it improve when she's sat up and a different shape. (the prams a M&P Ultima)

It's the same in the car seat she has to have it on a slightly larger setting but I'm not happy doing that because it means it's a little loose on her shoulders, I thought about padding the top of her out to compensate but I'm not sure whether that's safe. Any thoughts?

TIA

Hmm, I'm actually finding it quite difficult to picture. I'm not much use as we started cloth later on so my DS was sitting etc.

Do the shoulder/waist straps not extend to come down and meet up with the crotch strap, just lower than usual?
