Hi all, since my section I have been really worried about getting an infection. My scar is still a little tender but not open in any places. I had my section 4weeks 3 days ago.

Anyway I am just wondering if this is one thing I can now stop worrying or is it still a possibility that I may get an infection?

You sound like you are healing really well and I would say it is unlikely you will get an infection now (although I'm no expert!).  From just being a CL on here and what I have read infections seem to happen within a couple of weeks of having a section and I don't remember ever reading of anyone being clear for a month and then getting one.

I would still take it easy as they do say 6 weeks minimum to heal totally but I think you are pretty much on the road to recovery.
