Hi ladies,

I had my 2nd cs in July and ave had a funny tummy ever since. I seem to remember being constipated etc for 3 mths after my 1st cs but this time around I seem to have lots of wind and don't really know what to do about it. I don't think it's anything I'm eating because I keep cutting stuff out to see if that will stop it but it doesn't help. I'm due to go back to work soon and it will be very embarassing if this keeps up, any ideas?

A very confused Liz

Liz

Hi Liz

From what I have read I think it is pretty normal!  Peppermint oil can help reduce the problem (you can get capsules), as can antacid medicine, both of which can be purchased from your pharmacist.  It might also be worth speaking to your gp as well.
