Hi Janie

That's quite a good blog comment! Initially when I saw it (have seen it before) I thought, why would you? But then when I thought about it, I had to ask, why not? I don't see it as sexual (as breastfeeding is not a sexual experience) so what is it that people are offended by? That fact a child is mimicking an adult act? Well kids mimic adults in play all the time. Is it because the nipples on the top are flowers LOL?

I probably wouldn't buy one as my DD doesn't play with baby dolls, but would I if she did and wanted one? I don't know. Maybe the sight of seeing a little girl breastfeeding a doll with this top is a step too far, whereas a girl shoving a doll under her top to mimic breastfeeding isn't. I have to ask myself why I feel like that tho and maybe I'm not as "liberated" about breastfeeding as I thought I was even tho I breastfed both mine past 1yr old!
