I am a lurker from Mums due Oct 09 and Mums club june 05.

I would like to ask him why he is so eager to help Mums get back to work, when the best person surely to look after a child for the first two years of their lives is their Mummy.

Surely there should be more tax breaks for couples who want to raise their children themselves.

I couldn't believe how much money I got from tax credits when I went back to work when DS was two. I think the only ones benefitting from this are the day nurseries.
