Hello,

Just thought I'd give you all another little update.

Midwife came to check my blood pressure - was the same one who saw me after I had Grace.  She asked me if I was anxious about the birth sympatetically at which point I promptly burst into tears.  My blood pressure was still high and and I told her why I was worried.  Also mentioned that DH was due to go away (5-6hrs distance by train) tomorrow for 3 days.  She said she didn't think it was such a good idea for him to go as it wouldn't help my blood pressure lol!

She was really lovely and got DS to help measure my belly and do the doppler.  Head is now 4/5's engaged, although I know this can change given it's number 3.  By the end of the appointment she took my blood pressure again and it had gone down a bit so she is happy for me to wait till I see midwife on tuesday before doing anything (unless I get other symptoms of pre-eclampsia).  She also commented on how well DS speaks and how happy he is so that made me feel good :-)

DH is now staying home and not going away so I am much happier.  Can't believe the babies are poping already!

I'm glad that you are feeling a lot more relaxed after today and that you've had a chance to talk to a nice midwife.

I bet your blood pressure will return to normal now. ;-)

Im glad DH isnt going away so hopefully this will easy your worries somewhat and your BP will start to come down.
