DH and DS have just had a marathon Transformers fighting session with Optimus Prime and a Megatron.  I got asked if I can make gun noises and was swiftly told I make the gun noises of a girl!  Needless to say I wasn't asked to join in and to be honest I just don't really get it.

Oh the thought of tea party's and dressing up dollies - now I get that but with a household of 2 and a nearly 3rd boy think I've missed my opportunity.  Unless I can turn number 3 into a tomgirl. LOL!

I love watching (and am quite fascinated by it) DH and DS play and wish I a) had the energy and b) the inclination to be boystrous with them.  I guess I've always been a girlie girl so it's just gonna pass me by.  I end up doing the reading and colouring sessions instead. ;-)

Join the club!  I am often told that I'm not allowed to play with cars or do lego cos that's for boys!  Suits me, I'm happy to do the reading & colouring, and a bit of baking every now & then.  I do find it odd when a felt tip turns into some sort of gun or sword - how does that happen??

I'm in two minds about what I want this baby to be.  On the one hand I would love to have a girl to play with dolls etc, but then on the other hand is it better for it to be a be so on cold Sunday afternoons in the future they can go to the park & get muddy while I read a book in the warm?  Hmmmmm...... ;o)

i feel exactly the same way - if i'm honest i would have loved a little girl this time round!

DS and DP are all shooting, open warfare, ben 10 etc - i'm definately a girly girl and would have loved dressing up, tea parties and all that shebang!

oh well it'll be 3:1 soon in our house boys to me - i'll strugle to ever regain control of the remote control but at least i know i'll always be loved from them!
