Well mine's been quiet today.  Probably all that manouvering has worn him out.  Really didn't want to go get checked as this is what he does every few days (he's always been the same!) but hospital are insistent I go due to possible growth problems and it being the first indication of something going wrong.

So to give him one last shot I've sat here with the laptop resting on my belly playing tunes.  He always seems to wiggle to Black Eyed Peas when they come on the radio in the car so I started with that.  Job done - he's dancing!!  Party for one anybody ;-)

I've had about 20 movements in about 15 mins so I'm happy that I've tested he's ok myself.  Strange thing is I'm now left with some part of him stuck under my left hand side ribs.  That'll teach me won't it. LOL!

Cold drinks don't seem to get this one moving (think my placenta prevents it from freezing his bottom/head for the desired effect!) but at least now I have a future plan for quiet days.

Thought I'd share in case anybody else gets desparate and needs to give it a go.

Yes it can be worrying if bubs hasnt moved for a while, but i find that once she starts she cant stop lol

I was giving bump 30 mins to get moving as i hadnt felt anything in the last 12 hours :( which really is unusual..but he was really really active yesterday so maybe with nanny coming over and me staying up til 1AM must have tired him out!

Fortunatley i sat down and he has moved even if some what measley attempt!! i think he is tranverse which he moved into last night.

I guess if he doesnt make too much of an efffort over the next few hours i may worry again but for now i am going to try and relax!!!
