Message: I've had a pain in my left side - round my abdomen - on and off for about a month now. It came on around ovulation last cycle - I thought it was OV pain at first but was surprised as I don't normally get it. It sort of aches when I turn round and turn over in bed, but last couple of days I've been decorating and with lots of bending and lifting it's got worse and now seems to spasm every few minutes. I realise I sound really daft and of course I'll make an appointment at my gp tomorrow but has anyone else ever experienced this and found it has linked to anything fertility related? I don't think it's muscular

Message: You are not crazy i get this on both sides started like a pulling of muscle feeling i would turn and it would feel like stretching then it became like a pulsing and i still get it even though im pregnant my gp said i have fluid behind my ovary so he thinks could be related to that im not so sure as the fluid built up over my cycle of IVF but ive had this for years i dont think its muscular related either i have no idea but it came about 3 years ago around time of my HSG my GP said he will investigate if i still have it after May i never thought it was anything to worry about but mentioned it few times and it just got dismissed even by IVF clinic would be very interested to know.

Hiya, that's great news you are feeling better!

I'm okay, it took a few days to get the results through. My progesterone level was 17 so still may not be ovulating, they have decided to leave it for four months then see me again to see if things are any better then.

I wish I knew what was going on but I'm just trying to not get too consumed by it all... easier said than done though!
