Hello I first posted here 5-6 years ago when I was embarking on my first private ED IVF cycle after a premature menopause when I was a teenager. That cycle, along with the subsequent second attempt 3 years later failed. After waiting a lengthy 7 years I reached the top of the NHS waiting list. After a rocky start - was down regging for a month, and the donor almost didnt have enough eggs for me (the other recipient dropped out luckily for me). The transfer took place. I had spent the previous 2 years having acupuncture, I began having chinese herbs and hypnosis, I was taking oil capsules and spirulina and the doctors had agreed to let me have assisted hatching as it was my third attempt. I was just trying to tip the odds in my favour. After 2 weeks of fatigue, stomach cramps and slightly sore boobs I tested - a week early for ED IVF - I got a resounding positive! I had the scan yesterday and have to go back for another in a week as we saw 1 healthy embryo and possibly another.....! This was going to be my last treatment as we were then going to focus on adoption. I just hope I can give a little faith to all you ladies out there who are struggling to maintain the courage to continue. I know I was struggling. I am now 6 weeks and 3 days - a long way to go - but closer than I have ever been. I also have 2 embryos frozen, which I never thought possible. Lots of love, hope and babydust to you all. Sally
