Hi

DD is just started weaning on baby rice, and I'm wondering what to do if I don't have enough breastmilk ready to mix with it, if I get some formula in how can I make a tiny amount up?  I know you are not supposed to make some up and then keep in the fridge like you used to.

How much water would a teaspoon of formula need for example?

Or would it be better to buy ready made cartons?

Thanks in advance :-)

Hiya,

It feels like 'yonks' ago now when I formula fed my DD and it's amazing how easy it is to forget these things...but I think I am right in saying that a tub of formula would last you ages. In the tub you get a little measuring scoop and you'll probably only need 1 scoop of formula mixed with 1oz of cooled boiled water.
