MY SIL passed her driving test today... we started at the same time and she really got competitive about it i did my theory at beg of sept with my instructor telling me as soon as i pass that i will be booking my practical but i failed it by 1 sodding question :O( and then just got down about it and not had a proper lesson since... i desperately want to pass but i dont want to keep spending £25 an hour to learn to drive when i can drive just because of the theory so i said i would rebook theory then go back to driving lessons to book test but the weeks have passed and now our car has died so no more practicing with dh! either

Gonna book theory at end of week again and hopefully get myself my licence by xmas!!

I dont talk to my brother and sil i dont know why he just chooses not to talk to me anymore so just had my mum on phone saying isnt it brilliant etc etc and i just feel really poo about it all :O(

i just got my license too.abt 4 months ago and i wd just like to say that its not easy,and even if u dont get it the first time u can and u will get it the next time...like u said u  CAN drive....dont worry u will get ur license...

keep ur eyes on the prize.im praying 4 u.

awww (((hugs))) hun dont you just hate it when family members get competitive and then having your mum talk about it when she knows you and your brother and sil dont talk! am sure it wont be long til you are driving properly too hun.

good luck with the theory am sure you will pass it second time round and then book your pratical test :D i need to sort my provisional out so i can start my lessons in the new year. just having the money to bloody get a new one!

Hi hun, yes that is really annoying, especially if your Mum knows you don't speak to your brother! You are not alone! I haven't spoken to my brother in 2yrs coz his partner is awful and caused loads of trouble.....my Mum knows all this yet she still comes round and says 'oh your brothers doing so-and-so today', and blah blah blah and most of the time I just let it drift over me but occasionally I lose my rag and tell her to shut the f*** up and I don't wanna hear it! But she still carries on!

Just hold your head up high babe and know that you WILL get your licence eventually and it doesn't matter a jot what anyone else is doing.
