Message: Hi, does anyone have any idea when the NHS will be immunizing children for h1n1? I have two boys aged 3 and 7 and can't seem to find any info on when it will be done. Thank you.

Is this the swine flue vaccine or a different one?  I got a letter yesterday asking me to make an appt to have my 6yr old vaccinated against swine flu (as he has a VSD and is 'higher risk') but children with no underlying health issues aren't being vaccinated yet (so my 7yr old won't get it).

Message: Hi ladies, thanks for your replies...still no word from our GP office on when they are rolling out the jab to children who are normally healthy. I know they've been giving it out now for a few weeks to children or adults who are in priority lists with other conditions, but it seems to be taking quite a long time to give to the general public. I wonder how much longer it will be?

I just read in the news that under 5's are next on list, from what i can work out it will be before xmas. Not sure on the other groups yet.
