Hi,

I've been checking this board from time to time for a while although never introduced myself properly. I've been posting regularly on the TFAB+1 and FI boards on village since 2006 but mostly, post on FI these days as achieving our dream to have a baby is likely not to happen without medical help. Now a bit about me: ttc # 1 since April 2005 and not a hint of a BFP. Slight male factor (morphology not too good) and issue with egg quality. We had two IVF cycles using with my own eggs last year which both sadly ended up in BFN. So after last failed IVF in Dec 08, we took the decision to go down the egg donation route. While waiting our turn to come up at our local clinic (18 - 24 months wait), we've been looking at having DE ICSI overseas and after some research and soul searching, decided to go for DE ICSI in Spain.

Had 1st consultation at Spanish clinic in September and looking at starting treatment end of November. Excited about starting treatment next month but also terrified as if this doesn't work with better odds this time, this will be really tough and heartbreaking. Thank you for listening. I know this board is a bit quiet these days but was just wondering if there was anybody else who was going to start donor treatment soon or was thinking of going down that route.

Best wishes to all

Elody xx
