Hope you are all well.

Was just wondering when your periods started after BF, Tilly hasn't had any feeds from me now since Friday. Saturday afternoon I started getting really bad stomach cramps and pains in my sides, ended up in hosp where they thought it was a grumbling appendix any way had some blood test which proved inconclusive so I came home. It was only later on Sunday that I thought perhaps it is my body getting back to having periods, altho it seems V soon. My tummy and sides are still really sore and my tummy is bloated. The hosp said to go back in a couple of days if not better, hoping it isn;t my appendix.

Hi Nikki

With DS#1 I got my first period about 4 weeks after I stopped bf.  With DS#2 I got my first period when he was 7 months old and still exclusively bf.

I hope they work out what is causing your tummy pain and hope it is just something simple like period pain and nothing as bad as appendix.

Hi Ellie,

Tum is still sore so may still be my appendix but trying not to think it is, will leave it for a few more days then if still not better will have to go back to the hosp not looking forward to that. Apparently a grumbling appendix may just continue to do just that without it turning into anything more sinister.

Will keep my fingers crossed then that it doesn't turn into anything serious. Hope you feel better soon.

We're doing well thanks, I've just finished a course of anti-biotics for a toothache. It was horrendous but all better now thank goodness.

Take it easy, and get yourself seen to if you're still feeling off on Monday.
