Hi

 

Does anyone know if I can give my two year old kaline & morphine? - He had bad runs for four days and now hasn't been for a day and seems in pain

 

any comments appreciated

Message: I think If he's been ill for several days I'd be on the phone to the GP or NHS direct, either to check what is safe to give him or to get him checked out. Hope he is better soon. Jen xx

Please phone your gp, he is at risk of dehydration so try and get some rehydration sachets from the chemist.

It is important you seek medical advice from your gp.

Let us know how he gets on.

I wouldn't give him anything like that without checking with your GP first. If he seems to be in a lot of pain, I would visit your GP anyway. Being hydrated is probably the most important thing after having the runs though, obviously if he is in pain, a trip to the dr won't do any harm.
