hi hun just a quickie to ask you what happened in the end re the house?????

We didnt buy our one in the end - - we had it surveyed last friday pm and planned to make an offer this week but over the weekend I rang a neighbour who I know from work to ask re noise etc - she said she was having a few probs with a nearby business  - not what we wanted to hear!! we asked round a few more people who live in the street and all said same so we consider ourselves lucky we found out problems but also gutted as it was a fantastic house and i had mentally redecorated and furnished it in my head and could see myself living there. Our house just feels so small and cramped this week now! When we rang our solicitor to say we are not proceeding he told us about another house which will come on market early next year  - (belongs to relative of some one in his firm) had a drive by today and it looks fab - so you never know......

Cxxx

Hi Caroline,

Sorry to hear yours was a no go. We had disappointment too I am afraid the vendor of the house we want gave back word on ours as the garden is too small for his 3 boys who all play football. Sounded so promising too as he said the house was exactly what he was looking for. We do have 2 options one is that the man is in negotiations with the builder of our house to see if his amateur football club can buy a piece of land from them at the bottom of our street. If this came off then he would take our house as a swap and we would give him the difference.

As that seems a long shot he offered to meet half way with the extra costs incurred by going on the market and accepted our offer £15,000 below his asking price (which is already reduced over £50k for a quick sale!!!) So the ball is rolling and we are desperate to find a buyer for this so we can move in before the baby comes (doubtful as I am 20 weeks today) but you never know so we are trying.

The solicitor has arranged the HIPP and the agent is taking pics on Monday. We are so excited and nervous at the same time.

Keep me informed on your situation and if you want to buy ours I will give you a good deal :) LOL

Take care
Love
Becky

aw thats a shame - esp when it was all loooking so promising - shame his 3 boys are the sporty type! Hopefully when your house goes on the market it will be someone elses dream house and you will geta buyer really quickly and be able to buy the house, fingers crossed  cxxxx

PS would love to buy yours but DH would never get to work on time - we only live next door as it is and he is never ever in the office on time!
