Hi everyone

I have had a potty at home for yonks dp's mum brought him and said i should keep putting him on it so he would get used to it as this is what she did with dp, i got it down from off the wardrobe last week and put it buy the toybox he has been on it a few times and played with it a bit, yesterday after his nap i sat him on it with no nappy and he was playing on it for ages i was just going to take him off it and he started to wee so i left him on it and he did a poo! I couldnt belive it he looked very pleased with himself, i thought it might be a fluke so i put him on it again this morning before his nap and he did a wee and a poo again! Im going to keep putting him on it and see how he goes.

Awww bless him!  It sounds like you won't have much trouble training him as he has taken to it quite quickly.  Mine seem to have an aversion to the potty - all of them have preferred a training seat on the toilet.  I'm just starting to train Aidan as he is only starting to show an interest now (he's 2 and 2mths).  Everybody told me that girls were easier to train but my DD was 3 before she was out of nappies.

Good luck with it - sounds like he's a clever little fella!  Hope you are well hun xxx

Hi,

Wow! well done Luca, sounds as though he's on the right path. Samuel never took to the potty and went straight to the toilet, but it Luca definitely seems to have it down to a fine art and hopefully it will continue.

Love,

Well Done Luca! I think some kids just get it and some kids dont!

No potty joy here! My Violet is 2 and 4 months and she is not interested in the potty at all. I have decided to give it a break for a month, I just can't take many more mopping ups for the moment.

Good luck though! Sounds like your wee man is a genius!
