(((hugs)))

It must be so hard for you having your sister heavily pregnant at the same time you should be having your own baby.  I understand that you are wanting to buy baby things and it's totally normal.  However, next time you end up looking at baby stuff, turn around and go and buy yourself a treat instead because you deserve it.

Message: Hi Vicky - big hugs. I feel similar, I have a colleague and good friend who was 4 weeks behind me and has just gone on maternity leave. I'm jealous that it should be me getting a few weeks to sit on my bum and do nothing, apart from anything else. I have gone way overboard on a baby box for her, keep finding another little thing that could go in it. I think it's partly about the mixed feelings - being so pleased for them (esp as she's had 2 MC before this baby) but also remembering what could have been. Think I'm overcompensating!
Good luck dealing with the new addition to your family. Jen xx
