hello all,

im kinda a newbie but more of an oldie iykwim!

started off posting here in 2004 after my first MMC, was back again 2007 (2nd MMC) and here i am a 3rd time with another MMC :o(

had a private scan yesterday thought i was 9 weeks but unfortunately baby only measured 6 and half weeks. I did have a scan at 6weeks 3 days and HB was detected so either it happened just after that or maybe a little later and baby is shrinking in size as i have heard this can happen.

Both DH and i are gutetd and to be honest i think this is the final ride for me, i honestly thought this was our time but as the saying goes obviously bot ment to be :o)

I called my GP yesterday on way back from private scan but he didnt have a clue what i was going on about... tole me to bloody rest as at 6 weeks sometimes a HB cannot be detected... i was persistantly telling him no... i should eb 9 weeks but he just wasnt listening. It was 5.10pm so he probably wanted me off the line so he could go home for his tea :o) 

called EPAU this morning and they said if i went today i woudl ahve to wait hours as the doc on call takes ages but said i could go monday.

anyway dont want to rant anymore.

I'm so sorry you've had to come back, Anna. It's totally unfair that anyone should go through this even once let alone several times.

It's probably far too soon for you to think about the future, but it might be worth talking to EPU about referral to a recurrent miscarriage clinic, just in case there is something that might prevent it happening again if you decide you want to try.

I'm so sorry you have to be here again.  I remember you being a pillar of strength to me in those weeks following my miscarriage and I hope I can be a help and support to you now.  Let us know how you get on at the EPAU.
