Hi Lucy
Welcome to the board and congrats on your twin pregnancy! I totally sympathise with you being hospitalised - I also had hyperemesis and was in hospital for a couple of days when I was about 10 wks - oh, the morning sickness was so awful! This does pass though, normally when you reach about the 12wk mark and your placenta takes over. I stopped being sick round about 14-15 wks, but felt much much better from about 12 onwards.
We all worry about how we'll be able to cope, and when it's twins, well that's even more of a worry! But I'll tell you, and the rest of the twin mums on here will tell you, that you do cope. I live 200 miles from my family, my in laws are about as much help as a chocolate fireguard and my DH went back to work when the twins were two weeks old. I worried how I was going to manage but I did and you do, and to be totally honest, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting ;)
Let the news sink in and you'll feel a lot more confident about it! There is nothing more special than having twins.
