Hiya All,

Just had a sudden thought! It will be fine to bath my babies in a baby bath but when they get bigger how do I go about it then?? The reason I ask is that the house we have moved into is perfect........ but it has a large shower cubicle and no bath! As its rented we can not put a bath in!!!

Also has anyone had any experience of the changing units with a bath or would you recomend a normal plastic bath tub and then just a normal unit to change the babies and store things?

Thanks Girls! :D xxx

Hi Nat

We had the baby changing unit that was also a bath. We loved it and got a lot of use out of it.

With my son I had a baby changing mat that I used on the floor, however you can spend a lot of time bent over changing two babies and it was murder on my back.

The changing unit is the perfect height and doesn't strain your back plus you have everything to hand in the little sections along the side,

Again, for bathing the girls it is a good height and you are not bent over the way you have to be in a bath.

I remember when we moved the girls to the bath it was absolutely back-breaking.

So I would recommend it :-)

However, not sure what you will do as they get bigger .. perhaps some of the other ladies have used a shower cubicle.

Message: Hi there we had a tummy tub and it was fab. It took up minimal space and the girls loved it. We do have a bath in out house but I used to take them in the shower with me when they were little so that they would get used to it. From when they could stand they loved the shower and now like the shower as much as the bath. Hope this helps Allie x http://www.tummytub.co.uk/

We only used our baby bath once, and then went to just popping them in the bath with me! But if we didn't have the big bath then we'd have obviously used the smaller one. I think were, I'd get a tummy tub now, I was a bit concerned at how small and weird they were, but my nephew had one and it lasted a while. Though, again, if you don't have a bath for them to go in once they outgrow that, then a mini bath tub would last a lot longer. If you got a changing table one you could move it to the floor as they get bigger.

We didn't have the room for a changing table, so we just bought an add on to go over the cot, and that was fab for us, with two cots and a double bed in our bedroom there wasn't room for anything else.

Hi Allie

I've just been looking at the tummy tub, did you have two or did they both fit in it at the same time (when they were newborn)?
