Rory arrived by c section at 11.09am on 2 Nov, weighing 9lb 5oz!
Unfortunately, he had some breathing problems a couple of hours after he was born, and was transferred to scbu for the night. He had a chest x ray, and was put on antibiotics for 48 hours, but came back to the ward the next day. This meant we had to stay in for obs for a further 48 hours, but we were both discharged yesterday evening. The section was fine, I was pumped full of drugs to stop any bleeding, and only lost about 500ml this time. Have only needed paracetomol and ibuprofen.
He's really cuddly, gets a bit grumpy unless he's being held. He's feeding really well...but I'd forgotton how painful b/f is to start with. Getting easier today though!
