Dont tell me you're all in labour and I'm sat here waiting for Greenpeace to rescue me?

Had the first night for over 3 years without my kids last night (they were at grandmas) and I didn't know what to do with myself ha ha! Even had a glass of wine and a Chinese - most pleasant indeed.

Even slept better too. Think baby has dropped in the night as I can breathe better but boy are my bits swollen today and I'm walking like a gorilla. Nice.......

Hugs to all mummies in waiting and new babies,

Hi Angie,

I'm definately not in labour :(

I have 11 days until due date but DS1 was 9 days early and DS2 was 10 days early but this one seems very happy where it is as there are no signs that it is coming anytime soon.

Only 2 days until your due date!!!  I hope you don't have to wait too long until baby arrives.  It is great reading about all the new arrivals and birth stories on the board.

I bet your girls had a nice time at Grandma's and your evening sounds good too!

We are off to a friends house this evening for a bonfire/fireworks and then at my Mum and Dads tomorrow.

My birthday is on Tuesday so maybe baby will come then!!!

Take care

I'm still here, although I will admit I don't know how long for.

I am knackered, sleep is a distant memory, if this baby gets any lower he'll have his head poking out...lol

Went to see the midwife on Tuesday who said she didn't think i'd go much longer.... If I go full term I might have to hunt her down and slap her for getting my hopes up. I've been getting twinges since Wednesday but nothing regular.

My nan is now ringing me every day, If I don't get to the phone in time she is ringing my mum at work!!!!! its a nightmare - i've told her that we will call her when the time comes and not to worry but she isn't listening.

Getting DD to and from school is now taking over half and hour each way for a ten minute walk, i'm tired, grouchy, fed up and just miserable :(

Oh dear, this reply has turned into a rant - Sorry

Anyway hope you are all feeling better and more positive then me

Hugs

Vikki xx

Enjoy your bonfire tonight, maybe a few fireworks will encourage baby in the right direction!

Im hoping for an 9/11/09 birth or a 11/11/09 birth as their cool dates and a reason for me not to get too cheesed off with going overdue. Hope you have a nice surprise for your birthday.

Nothing worse than well meaning relatives who don't get the hint, I wouldn't answer the phone and let your mum do all the explaining! Naught I know but needs must!

Sorry you're not sleeping well, I must admit last night was a one off the rest of the week I've been up on the hour so it was good to get some kip. I would recommend a glass of wine if you can stomach it.

Im still walking to school too but have to set out much earlier to get in on time and my daughter is getting quite impatient with my waddling !

Hoping the walking gets you going soon hun.

Take care
