After two horredous nights of Sophie wanting to be constantly on my boob from 9-3am and not settling unless we held her I had to go and find some dummys. We tried tomme tippees and she wouldnt take them, then tried mam ones and she had it straight away! Im only going to use it night i hope lol. So last night she slept really well and woke up every 4 hours for a feed..phew.

Off to register her birth today so very excited!

Every four hours is great!!! I gove chloe a dummy sometimes if she is full up but still wanting to suck but sometimes she wont take it at all and when she does shel have a few sucks and spit it out just before she falls asleep. They are good to have I think!! Have fun registering her birth and making her official

Hi Ladies

Im the same with my Chloe, she feeds constantly at night sometimes (nocturnal at the moment!) but I know she can go 4hrs + because she does in the day, until I wake her up!! Its hard to settle her at night though, so was going to try with a dummy tonight.

Can I just ask though...how are you sterilising the dummy? sounds weird but wasnt sure what to do with just one dummy!

I just put it in a cup of boiling water for a couple of minutes.

Thanks Jen! Thought that might be it but wasnt 100% sure...my first DD is only 4yrs but I seem to have forgotten everything!!

Here's to a good few hours sleep in a row tonight then....Fingers crossed!
