Hey Ladies,

I am now 8 days overdue and it's honestly driving me crazy. I had an appointment with my MW on Tuesday who carried out a sweep (which wasn't painful, more uncomfortable) which resulted in me having a show today. She said I was 1-2cm dilated, but that could mean nothing. I am due to be induced on Tuesday 10th November (42 weeks) if he/she doesn't arrive before then. I keep getting twinges/cramps etc but there's no pattern and they don't last long. This is all very frustrating.

The way I see it ladies, we are obviously doing such a marvellous job our babies don't want to come out!

Make a pregnancy ticker

I'm 8 days over today. Had sweep on Monday but it did nothing at all (not painful or uncomfortable really - just relax).

Baby gave us a bit of a scare as not been moving a lot last 24 hours, so been to hospital today for monitoring. He's fine, but they've brought my induction forward, so I'm going in tomorrow morning at 8.30am. Bonfire night baby maybe?
