Hello all.

Came home yesterday from the hospital with Francesca. All's going well so far and she is sleeping and breast-feeding well so i'm getting a fair bit of rest at the moment, however I'm sure it won't last! She weighed 7lb 10 oz with a thick crop of dark hair.

The birth was ok just a bit of a shame that I had to have a caesarean in the end. I'll put more details in the birth story.

Thanks to Viki for posting my announcement and did you notice that I'll spelt Francesca's name wrong on the text! (francesa) I was trying to text from the hospital not long after I came out of the anaethestic so guess i was still a bit dozy!

Right off to bed and to feed Francesca.

hope everybody else is well and those of you still waiting don't have to wait long.

Jane

hi Louise
Queens was fine but there weren't too busy which was good. All the staff were lovely. How did you find the hospital?

Hi

I thought Queens were really good, the midwifes told me I was lucky because they weren't busy when I was in there either. I thought the two midwifes I had with me were great and the ward afterwards (coral ward) was really nice too. Glad it was good for you too.
