will it ever go back to normal?? im still too scared to look in the mirror but i am aware it looks different. I try and do my pelvic floor exercises whenever i remember but im worried that when me and dp do finally have sex again he will get no pleasure from it at all. im worried it'll be like throwing a hotdog down an alley way situation!! im too embarrassed to tell him that in case it puts him off more lol. i am definitely 'bigger' down there now and its really depressing me!!!!

sorry for way too much info!

xx

When I had Brooke I had quite alot of stitches and was aware I felt bigger, When we had sex the first time it was of no pleasure to me at all but df finished so to speak. , the good news is it does get better as long as you keep doing them all the time. This time because I didnt tear and I dont know if it was because chloe wasnt in the birth canal long enough to stretch much at all but when we did the deed it was over fairly quickly on dfs part which says something and although I didnt personally think it felt as tight as before it was alot better than after brooke and I could squeeze my pelvic floor quite tight. I was also really worried about it hurting too but it was ok.

Im not sure about the way it looks as mines never changed after either of the girls, Im sure when you look it wont be anywhere as different as your imagining. It is such a worry after having a baby about how your bits have been affected but its only natural and Im sure lots of us have been thinking it too

Jen xx

ive not been brave enough to look yet! have touched my stitches tho and it just feels like a raised scar. it'll be a long time till i feel up to doing anything tho, i was petrified of going to the toilet let alone anything else!

i dont feel bigger, niamh was out very quickly with minor help from the forceps.

Lol, have to agree with Deea, the first time they get the green light again, they are so happy they are getting it they don't care!!! ;O)

Having had stitches with DS1 it was pretty uncomfortable for me first time we did it. I also find that my boobs feel really off-limits when I'm breastfeeding, so I generally have much less interest for as long as I'm bfing.

I had a raised scar from DS1 but it did soften and i can't feel it now 5 years on. I can't say as I studied my bits in a mirror before I had babies, but the really dark pg colour does go away again. Keep doing your pelvic floors, it will be just fine.
