Good Morning Everyone ^^

Now I'm not sure who is still about here that might remember me. I used to be SommersetMummy way back when..Well actually since the board started lol. But I skulked off the past 3 years due to family issues.
Anyhoo.. Just thought it was time to pop back on and see how everyone is keeping.

Well for me, the past 3 years has been insane. I think I posted at the time that Grant and I had split up and that my mum had passed away. Things spiralled from there but are most definately on the up =D YaY! Grant now lives in Saudi Arabia, working for BAe, so he rarely sees the boys, apart for 3 weeks every 3-4 months. It angers me so very very much that they lose out but they talk every night via skype so thats something I guess.Our divorce becomes final within the next 2 months. We gave it one last go early last year but it lasted a few weeks before it was hell again.
As for my little 2 who aint so little anymore lol... Daniel is now 6 and William 4. Proper little men in every way. But a joy =D Dan is doing well at school. His reading is level 16 which is 5 levels above his class and he really has gotten over the confidence issues and shyness and now nothing holds him back. Hes still the very soft, caring boy but has some punch in him now which imo is a good balance. William starts school this year and I wish the school luck lol. Will remains to be the child that never runs out of energy. Hes very good though and I rarely have a problem with him, just boundless energy. But all in all they are growing into even more wonderful little men than I could have ever hoped for.
I now have a boyfriend. Ugh.. dating! At my age ! lol. David is 37, lives in Cornwall and is a Police Officer which that in itself is highly amusing that Im dating a cop lol. Anyways, we have been together for about 6 months now so still very early days and taking it slow. He is also divorced and has 2 boys same ages as mine, which is complete chaos when all together. Easter week we needed valium in the bucketloads! =D But, hes a really wonderful man, so fingers crossed that all continues to go well =)

Umm other than that, Im staying at home until Will goes to school. Finally drained the savings now so need to go back to work and tbh I cant wait.

I hope everyone is well. I will take a look at past messages to see how everyone is, although 2-3yrs worth will take me maybe 2-3yrs to get through lol.

Does Lisa, Lou, Emma and Jen still use the boards ? If so Hugs lovely ladies x♥

Nice to see you back ;-))

As you can tell, the board is very dead at the moment, not sure where everyone is but most are still around somewhere.

Really glad to hear that everything is going well for you and the boys are doing well.

Sorry to hear Grant is so far away, thank goodness for the internet eh? Least with him gone, it must be easier to have a clean break for you. This is what I find frustrating with Belles dad, he doesn't live here anymore but I cant get on with my life as he is always around. I dont want to talk about him too much as it could go on forever!

Belle is fine. I've had a few problems with her at school but touch wood it wont continue. She isn't interested in reading or writing, I find it really frustratin as she knows it, she's just too lazy to make the effort.

I've been waiting for her to have her tonsils and adenoids out. We got so close a few weeks ago, on the theatre operating bed!! But they cancelled due to lack of beds, this is the 5th ntime it has been cancelled!

Be really nice if you stay with us this time, hopefully help get the board lively again ;-)

Lovely to see you back! I'm still hanging about and I remember you! As Lisa said, the board has gone rather quiet lately so we hope you can help us keep it afloat!

Sounds like you've had a lot going on over the last few years! Congrats on the BF! It must be fun when you get all the boys together!

Lou and Emma can be found on FB these days I think, niether of them have popped in for a while. As for Jen I really don't know.

We're all good. Aidan is 6 now and doing really well at school. DH and I got married last year in Feb and in Nov we had a baby girl, Ella, who is now 5 months old and a gorgeous but demanding little thing!
