Hiya everyone!

Well, Ella is now 6 months (and 1 day) old. I have no idea where the last 6 months have gone, it seems like only yesterday we brought this tiny little baby home from the hospital!

She's changed so much since getting rid of the dummy and starting solids, before she was only happy when she was being held and I could hardly put her down to go to the toilet. Now she's happy 98% of the time regardless of what she's doing which means I can actually get a few things done, DH says I am becoming a proper housewife again, lol!
She's on 2 meals a day, we are going to start breakfast this week, and will eat anything I give her really. She still BF's as and when she wants or it's convenient to me, lol! Here's a link to my post of BF support because it would make this post stupidly long!

She goes to bed between 7.30 and 8pm usually and can now settle herself to sleep from conpletely wide awake, which is fab! She's gone from waking 4+ times after 11pm to waking once all night, and 3 times in the last week she has actually slept straight through until about 6am!! Although those seem to be the days when she hasn't napped much, we are struggling with that unless we are out in the pram or car, if anyone has any tips or advice feel free!
When she wakes around 6am she'll normally stay happily in the cot until DH and I get up, she doesn't want feeding straight away but I feel like Dolly Parton when she's slept through so she gets it anyway, lol!

She's very happy and chatty now, we are getting so many different noises from her it's lovely! I think she might actually say Mum first, unlike DS who said Dad, as she is making the 'mmm' sound when DS did 'ddd' first, although this could mean nothing at all, we shall see!

I've had all her weights and measurements done today, for no reason other than to feel smug towards the HV about how well she is doing!
She weighs 14lb 13oz, a 1lb 12oz gain since 3 weeks ago. She's 65cms long, was 51.5cms at 6 weeks old, and her head circumference is 42cms, was 36.5cms at 6 weeks old.

She's doing so well, I'm very pleased!!
