Hi everyone!!!!! Hope u r all well and pregnancy is treating u well....eat lots of choccies and cakes (I did and still do..oops!)
As the title indicates I have had my baby!! Actually she is 6 weeks old now!! But I've been rushed off my feet soooo much I haven't had time to shower let alone come onto the internet, it's bloomin crazy! But of course completely worth it!
I had Jessica on the 23rd of September, at 1:56am by forcep delivery, she weighed 7lbs 10oz at birth, and now weighs 9lbs 8oz's! Health visitor is really pleased with her progress! I'm sooooo happy she is here, tired of course and trying to establish a nightime routine......which isn't easy! I was 41 weeks pregnant when I went into labour, my waters broke at 2am in the morning in bed and my DH was surprised to say the least!
I'm such a proud mummy think I must've taken about 300 piccies already! We're going to have a professional photo taken at the weekend which will be ace!

Hi Julia, Congratulations on the birth of Jessica ! She was a lovely size at birth and sounds to be putting on weight nicely. The first few weeks are just manic, but normally things start to calm down a bit now as you both get used to one another :o) Enjoy having the photos done at the weekend. If you get the chance, try having some down with Jessica just wearing a nappy - they can come out fantastically. We had some done with Becky dressed and also some in just a nappy, and the semi-naked ones were my favourites. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your little girl and hope to see you on MAFI soon.

Thankyou all, I love my baby soooooo much! I don't think anything could have prepared me for how exhausting labour is tho!!!! They don't call it labour for nothing do they????
To Dizzy, yeh, I was worried Jessica would be too big too, that's why they tested me for gestational diabetes, but in the end she was exactly the right weight for a newborn!!!! She's on the 50th Centile in her red book the health visitor gave me, exactly in the middle, bang on track!! She likes to be like her mummy!
Anyway, am gonna pop over to MAFI now, bedtime last night was alright, settled after her bath about 11:30, then slept thru till 5:30 so not too bad, 5:30 starts I'm getting the hang of now I think!!!
