hello everyone

long time no see - life is so hectic with my DS and DD and trying to finalise building works in the house that I don't often get a chance to log on much.  We flew back from half term holiday in Spain on Tuesday (at 32 weeks exactly BA were fine with it but did check I had my "fit to fly" letter!) which was lovely as the weather was amazing about 25 - 30 degrees and sunny. 

Anyway am now over 32 weeks pregnant and looking it.  My lovely one to one midwife came and saw me today and everything is going well - low blood pressure, baby head down and 2/5 engaged already and he's very very lively.  Also now getting big as am measuring 34 weeks (at my 30 week check up was measuring about 31 weeks) so am 2 weeks ahead of myself now...With Molly I measured 4 weeks ahead of myself for the last 2 months so at least I'm not that big!  Anyway I'm all on for my home birth and hopefully this baby will behave himself and come before Christmas (a week early) as Molly did and can't bear to be pregnant on Christmas day...

Glad to hear that you had a wonderful holiday in Spain and that all is going well with Pip. I wonder what size he/she will be after your other two ?

It's great that baby is already engaging. Given baby is so big, hopefully they will arrive early - though one of my friends hoped that and baby eventually turned up at 16 days over and a hefty 10lb 11oz, but then her first daughter was big !

Awww i have no choice than to be pregnant on christmas day but nowhere near as far as you are fingers crossed this one comes early and so can share christmas with you my DS was 3 weeks ahead lol he was a whopper at birth.
Good luck with everything and not too long to wait now.

Great to read an update from you! Must have been so nice to escape the cold British weather for a bit of sunshine!

My Mum is convinced my baby will be early and that I'll have him on Christmas Eve and my Dad is predicting Christimas Day. I really hope they're both wrong as I think they're rubbish dates for birthdays! Hope your latest arrival-to-be is early too as a before Christmas birthday would be lovely!

Lovely to hear from you and great you and baby doing so well. Oo that's exciting about the home birth, will this be your first? hopefully a lovely relaxing experience and fingers crossed it'll be before x-mas. Would def make for a more interesting x-mas day if it isn't. I was wondering if my IVF baby would be more likely to come on time given we know exact dates of conception but given Molly was a week early that throughs that theory out the window hehe. I'd like to come a bit earlier than x-mas a week before sounds good as i'll have at least had a week off M/L by then but i'd like him to stay put until then.

I seem to be measuring spot on for my dates but then given low fluid they keep telling me baby isn't small! not sure what that means, is he big? or just average and therefore not 'small'! In your case you've maybe just plenty fluid rather than a big baby.
