Ladies

I am scaring myself to the point im now thinking of excuses not to go.
Is this normal?

Hi hun,

It is so hard, the first trimester of pg, waiting for scans to see if all is OK. Frankly, on the amount of sickness you've had, I'd have thought that was a good indication that your hormones are doing the right thing.

The day of your scan won't make any difference to the outcome of the pregnancy as you know. Hun, I was sure something was wrong with my first pg - the one that ended in m/c, in fact the day that I found out I was pg, I was surfing the web for things about m/c ! However I was absolutely sure everything had gone pear shaped at 10 weeks with the pg that produced Becky and I was 100% wrong.

I think it's normal to think of all the things that could be wrong in the run up to the scan, however for the vast majority of ladies who've already seen a heartbeat, the next scan shows a bigger healthy baby.

Glitter Words

Aww Tammy,

I know how you feel - but as one of the other ladies wrote - your levels of sickness are a great sign. They should be tailoring off now - so try not to panic.

A friend of mine who'se into meditation says we should acknowledge bad thoughts but don't dwell on them. (Kinda like how you acknowledge a toddler's needs when in the middle of an important call!) Instead try & focus on your body & 'will' it to be sending all those good nutrients & stuff down to the munchkin.

I have to wait until the 17th, and have also been worrying myself silly! However I recently made the realisation that worrying would not change the outcome - only make me feel bad. Instead I'm chosing to be happy in my blissful ignorance until I hear otherwise!

Have a virtual hug ((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))) and try to do something you'll love this weekend.

Love,

 Red xxxx

That is brilliant advice i will live in ignorant bliss for a week lol. I still have symptoms so should stop dwelling on negative thoughts bring on the PMA i will try really hard to think positively.
