Only me again

basically been to the hospital today ,

thought i was going for a scan and to take that horrible tablet to get things going,

but they have asked me to now wait till monday morning .....!!!

said because the baby is still there they want to make sure that all was not ok and to give it a week from monday gone so they can check to see incase there is a change in the development ??

surely if there was no heartbeat there wont be no change ??

but still no bleeding or cramps everything just seems so normal still !!!

my uterus and cervix are both tilted but surely this wont change nothing ??

i want to wait till monday but am i just kidding myself , what would you ladies do ?

if my tictac as gone then i want this over with asap , but now im more confussed than ever

think im going mad :(

I am sending you big {{{{HUGS}}}}

You are really going thro the mill at the moment. It's a hard question to answer because you don't want to get your hopes up only to be dashed again on Monday but at the same time there is always hope.

Whatever advice you get you are the only one who can make the decision it's your body.

You take care and try to take it easy. What ever you decide will be the right one for you

(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) this must be so very very hard for you my lovely, after getting ready for the days events.

babies inside the womb develop as such a different rate, the reason they are asking you to wait is to make sure your dates are not wrong and to give tictac this last chance to develop.... a scan done at 6wks can date you at only 5wks for that to be changed back a week ahead at a scan two weeks later.

i really hope you see a heartbeat at the next scan hun, im right in thinking this was the first scan you had??

also a tilted uterus can make it had to see whats going on in there at this early point which again is why they want to check.

are you still bleeding hun... if you are, and the worst has happened its possible you will m/c before monday.

i really hope you get a happy out come hun... it does happen from time to time.

love (((((((((((hugs))))))))))

I'm sorry this is all being dragged out. It's horrible to be in limbo, without much hope but without physical resolution. It seems to be standard hospital practice if a heartbeat is not seen on a first scan to wait a week and rescan. It would be too terrible to terminate a viable pregnancy if there's even a slim chance that things are ok.
I didn't have to wait because I'd had scans showing a heartbeat before I had a MMC.

A tilted uterus can make it difficult to see the baby on a scan so I guess they have to be extra sure. Big hugs - my heart goes out to you.
