Hi everyone,
Saw my GP yesterday, who doesn't think I've had a water infection, but they are testing it at the hospital to be sure. I've had some more spotting overnight - it was pinky brown with a little red but a very small amount. I don't know how things are going to turn out, as basically I've had this with all 3 of my pregnancies to date - 2 ended in miscarriage and one with my lovely DS. I am trying to stay positive, but not feeling too good about this if I'm honest. I kind of thought it was too good to be true that I fell pregnant this easily - it wouldn't be my life if things weren't made difficult in some way!!! Some people seem to sail through things, but I've never been one of those lucky people. I don't know where I've gone wrong there, but that is the way it is. I really wish I could enjoy being pregnant but PAL takes that side of it away, especially early on.

I really hope I stay with you, but I have to say I don't think the signs are great. I've got to ring my GP and tell him that the spotting has continued, and he said he would arrange a scan. Hopefully I'll be able to get the scan tomorrow, and that will give me some answers.

Hope you're all ok, and better than me!
Lxxx

oh hunni (((((((((hugs)))))))))) as you said you have spotted in a full-term pg before, i know that doesnt make it easier and your right pal takes the joy right out of early pg!! i wish it could be different hun. i have no idea why pg is so hard for some of us, while others skip through without so much as a single tear spilt ...... its not fair hun, i know.

really hope you get a scan hun ... fingers crossed!!

let us know what the gp says!!!

love

Message: Hugs. I've been spotting on and off for the last 5 weeks, and had a scan yesterday all is still ok at nearly 13 weeks. It makes my heart sink every time I see a bit more, but it doesn't have to be bad news - just makes the PAL journey even more of a wobbly one. Hope you get good news at your scan. Jen xx

Hi there,

Just to let you know I spoke to my GP this morning and have a scan tomorrow at 8.40am.  Told me to take an overnight bag with me in case they need to keep me in for more tests! I'm sure that is is unlikely though, as I've been through this before.

On the positive side, the spotting has tailed off again - I certainly haven't mc'd as yet, and I did a pg test this morning, and it came up positive instantly with a really dark line.  Please cross all available limbs for me!

I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow,

Lxxx
