Hi All

Well I just wrote a lovely long post introducing myself but my pc decided to crash and deleted it all!!

My name is Kath and hopefully I will get to know you all quite well as we journey through your pregnancies to get your little bundles of fun at the end! This is my first CL role so bear with me!

I'm 32, live in Cardiff with DH, the light of my life - my 15 month old Son Morgan, one dog and two cats. I work as a health, safety and environmental person working for a facilities management company who look after the MOD estate.

Why did I want to be a CL on this board? Well I wish I had noticed it when Morgan was still just a bump - I definately could have used it! We had a bit of an interesting time with Morgan....

* It took over a year to get a BFP and Drs said it wouldn't happen without medical help but Morgan proved them wrong.

* I had bleeds at 6,7,9 and 10 weeks due to a bleed behind the placenta - so I had loads of scans!!

* Morgan had enlarged kidneys at the 20 week scan (PCD). By the 32 week scan we had only 1 was dialated, he had antibiotics when born and a scan at 7 weeks showed both were fine.

* I started itching at 28 weeks but was fobbed off with a diagnosis of allergies.

* At 33 weeks I was taken into the hospital with Obstetric Choleostasis.

* The OC cause my kidneys to almost fail, my blood pressure to rise and my blood sugar shot up when they gave me steroids to prepare Morgan for an early birth.

* 2 days after being admitted I had an emergency c-section and Morgan was born. He weighed 4lb 3 oz which was good for 7weeks prem!

* He stayed in NICU for 16 days.

* At 6 weeks he got diagnosed with 2 heart problems and we are currently waiting to find out if he has a genetic disorder called NF1. Neither of these are linked to the pregnancy problems. He is a happy and healthy little boy who steals everyones hearts!

If anyone wants to read my full pregnancy and birth diary its on my Mums Club Board (Mums Club Sept 08).

Well thats me now tell me about you!!

Love Kath

Hi Faye

How are you doing? Is the pg progressing well? I am jealous I miss being pregnant but DH and I are not sure we are going to have any more:( Have you come up with any names for your little boy yet? A friend of mine is having a girl so we are looking at Welsh girl names right now as her son has a Welsh name and she wants some kind of similar theme for the two of them.

I am hoping that the board is a relatively quiet one as I hate the thought of people not getting the prefect pregnancy experience - my own was a rough ride so I know how worrying it can get.

Take care

Love

Kath
