hi girls

mentioned on an earlier post that i had a laparoscopy last week and the procedure went wrong - well it turns out that the air that didnt make it through the second layer has torn my stomach muscles which is why i am in so much pain! (dr confirmed this yesterday)

have been struggling with clothing for obvious reasons and am going in for repeat surgery on the 9th November, well today i did a bit of retail therapy (Christmas shopping if DH asks) and ended up buying a pair of maternity jeans for comfort.......

maybe its how i am coping with our recent loss only 3 weeks ago but i am finding this very funny but its not the kind of thing i can call people up with and say guess what ......  so forgive me but i am sharing with you all

in all seriousness its kinda ironic - if i had of been still pregnant i would have genuinely been buying some today but cause of the pain i am in i needed some comfy trousers and these i have to say are great, even if i am not wearing them for what they are meant for

apologies if this offends anyone

thanks for lettin me share

Hello

Just think of it as buying in advance, like getting your Christmas shopping done early. You'll need them sometime, just not for their real use quite yet. And if they feel good right now, then who cares?

About a month ago, I bought a top in Banana Republic sale which wasn't meant to be a maternity top but totally would work as one. I'm guessing that is probably why it was on sale. I wouldn't have bought it as a regular top but since I was pregnant at the time, I bought it. Now I've stashed it away with my other maternity stuff as I can't bear anyone asking (again) if I'm pregnant yet.

Hope that you feel better soon.
