Hi everyone! Not sure if I'm on the right place, but I need some advice on whether to keep on with the rest of my pills or not! I'm on Dianette, started a new pack on 12 October (also last of af). Missed the pill on 15th and 16th, took the 17th, and missed the 18th. Also had unprotected sex on the 18th, and then missed the 19th. Now I don't know what the chances are I could be pregnant, or whether I should still go on and finish the pack - would it harm any potential baby if I do?? How long can I wait before testing?

There is always a slim chance when the contraceptive isnt used properly but I dont think you have done it on poss ov days which would be on middle of month but how long do afs last for?
The best time to test is when af is due, to early can give false results.
I dont know if it would damage the baby if you carried on. If you are really worried then stop and use condoms in the meantime or ask to speak with branch nurse.
Hoping someone else knows a bit more to help!

AF's normally only last a couple of days, normally over a Friday and weekend, and i restart my pill packet on the monday. Sometimes if i miss just one pill I spot a little - I bled on Wednesday and Thursday after unprotected sex, but don't know if that means I'm definitely not pregnant, or just a bleed because I haven't been taking the pill (or implantation bleed, is it too early for that??). It stopped after just the two days. I'm not due AF again until around 6th Nov. So nervous, I can't wait to test.

Did a first response test this morning (still 4/5 days before af due but couldn't wait any longer), and was BFN. Funny how disappointing that is even though we weren't trying.
Back on the pill next week then, whenever af reappers.

Argh, af now 3 days overdue, and no sign of it even starting to start! Normally when I wasn't on the pill I would have bad cramps and pains, but nothing. But no pregnancy symptoms either? So confused now, can't re-start pill packet until af arrives, and normally would start new packet on monday morning.
Will probably test again this weekend, though preparing myself for another let down and bfn.
