After my post about not knowing if Mollie is poorly or not for the last week, I phoned the Doctors this morning and was told to take her in straight away, after seeing a horrible Locum who told me 'not to changed her nappy in her room as the smell would linger' she referred us to the local hospital's childrens unit.

We were there from about 10am until 3pm and after lots of tests and seeing 3 Doctors they have decided that she has a Viral Infection, the cold she started with has caused the poorly tummy and that in turn has caused the rash which is now all over her body. They have prescribed Liquid Paracetamol and Diarolyte to give her but say it looks like its coming out of her system now.

She is still a bit cranky/unsettled but is generally ok thankfully.

Poor Mollie, so glad she is on the mend. Must have been a bit scary for you as well.

And seriously, not changing a nappy because of the smell! Pathetic.

Has that Locum not heard of opening a window for a few minutes? Pathetic.

Aww! I'm glad mollie is on the mend.It's awful when they're ill,you feel so helpless. That locum sounds like a right git. You'd think they'd be used to far worse smells than baby poo!!
