Hello ladies,

Well after crying for a week since my emergency scan last Monday, I went for my scheduled 7 week scan today and all is well!!!!  :D  I am in total shock, especially since my scan last week looked like I was only 4 weeks along when I was six weeks.  I was only going today so they could confirm things were wrong and I could push for a D&C!  Well not now :)

Can't honestly believe it.  I've bled on and off for 3 weeks now with extreme pain last Monday and Thursday.  I had a heavy bleed last Monday (hence emergency scan) but then it stopped.  The midwife says the gynae ward were using a very old machine, weren't experienced at scanning (registrars) and weren't aware that my womb is inverted (quite common) which makes it difficult to see things this early on.  I had an internal scan today and baby bean is measuring 7+2, has a nice sac full of fluid and there was a clear healthy heart beat!  There's also no sign of any more bleeding areas so here's hoping it was just on-off implantation :)

I really hope I hold on to this one :)  I'll tentatively move over to PAL now!

Well I sure that bean is a sticky one to have gone through all of that. Congratulations!!

I am due af in 3 days...not feeling too hopeful as we all had colds etc so only bd once...but there is always next month!
